Another card for challenge 39 at CRAFT Challenge

Hello again,
Here is the second card I made for challenge 39 at CRAFT Challenge this week, Glitter and Ribbon. This is a card for my mum-in-law, and she loved it. It was her birthday yesterday and she loves tigers and Tai Chi. So, what would be better to combine the 2? I made some digistamps to suit the purpose, which are available here and here on my sister blog 'Trimgym's digistamps and images'. Feel free to go over there and download them for your personal use. Do leave a comment if you do as I love to hear from you and love to see what you create with my images.

This week our sponsor is Angela, aka Toucan Scraps, who is donating a lovely set of papers, which you can find at the end of this post. Hope you like my card, do come and join us again this week. I have used her papers for the front and the inside of the card.

So, do come and join us at CRAFT Challenge, with our sponsor this week  and be in with a chance of  winning a product of choice from her store. The backing papers I used for this card come from this lovely set of papers:

Thank you for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated.

Have a good weekend.

Love,

Jo.

My third card for CRAFT Challenge 39, Glitter and Ribbon.

And here is my third and last DT card for CRAFT Challenge this week. Another one using papers from Angela, aka Toucan Scraps that she is also donating for the winner this week.

This one is for my daughter Tigerlover, who is celebrating her 12th birthday on the 28th, you know her as one of our junior DT members at CRAFT Challenge. As her name already indicates, she is mad about Tigers. I have therefore googled for some tiger images and used these as examples to draw my own digistamps. These are again available here and here on my sister blog 'Trimgyms digistamps and images' for your personal use only. Please leave a comment if you download them as I love to hear from you and I would also love to see what you create using my images.

So here is the card I made her, she has not seen it yet obviously.

I have decorated both outside and inside of the card with some digistamps and papers from  obviously. I'm sure you'll love her papers as much as I do. The prize is a product of choice from her store.

Here is a little preview of the papers I used.

Thank you for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated.

Love,

Week 39 at CRAFT Challenge, glitter and ribbon.

Thursday again and another challenge for you again at CRAFT Challenge. This week our brief is Glitter and Ribbon and our sponsor this week is the lovely Angela aka Toucan Scraps.

I have been quite busy for this challenge and made 3 cards that followed the brief, all using some of the lovely papers that Angela has donated for the winner and has allowed us to use as well.

Here is the card we have chosen to show you as part of the challenge, the others are still to follow. This was a 'quickie' card. My husband told me on Thursday night after I had returned from work and while we were having our tea, that he needed a sympathy card for one of the girls at work, who had just lost a mum-in-law, for the next day. I had already arrived home late from work, so he told me just before 10pm, oops!

The paper strip carrying the sentiment is from the paper pack Angela allowed us to use, the image and backing paper are from The Lilac Garden.

Now down to the prize for this week's winner. Our sponsor is and Angela is donating a product of choice from her shop for the winner. On this card I have only used it for the strip of paper on the front, which has a stamp with the sentiment on it. You can see the picture of the papers down below, they are gorgeous.

Thank you for looking, all comments very welcome as usual and much appreciated. Hope to see you again at CRAFT Challenge this week. Have a great weekend all!

Love,

Jo.

Card for Mo's Dream Team challenge and Guest DT spot

Morning all,

A bit last minute this card, but I finally managed to get the card sorted for this challenge I wanted to enter. At Mo's Dream Team the current challenge is a sketch to follow and attached to this challenge is a chance to win a Guest DT spot for one month. All entries need to be in by the 25th and the winner is announced on the 28th of February. The winner will receive 4 free Mo Manning images and is expected to use these for at least 4 DT cards in the month. Sounds like a fab deal to me as I adore Mo's images.

Well, here is my card. I used the sketch for the front of the card, using Mo's image 'Little Girl in Kimono', the papers are from Scrapalicious Cereal. I repeated the sketch on the inside, using the same papers and Mo's image 'Sinatra'. Hope you like my card. I'm going to use this one for one of my cousins, who is having her birthday in April. I think she will like it.

Thank you for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed again for this one, I would love to win this prize. Currently my only DT spot is with CRAFT Challenge, which I absolutely love and I'm sure I would be able to squeeze a few more cards in each week. If anyone feels like sponsoring our blog, why not click the link and have a look at the sidebar of our blog. We are always looking for more sponsors to sponsor our friendly blog.

Hope you all have a great week and do keep a look out for our next challenge at CRAFT Challenge on Thursday, you still have till 8pm UK time tonight to enter the current challenge.

Love,

Jo.

Challenge 38 at CRAFT Challenge, a sketch to follow.

Another Thursday, another challenge at CRAFT Challenge. This week we have a sketch for you to follow provided by our very own Eileen, aka Eiglas. It is a great sketch to work with, which we all enjoyed playing with.

Our sponsor this week is The Crafty Pad Stamp Designs and I have used one of Debbie's lovely images on this card, Teddy Hug. The other image is one I drew myself and it is available free to download for your personal use here on my sister blog Trimgym's Digistamps and Images. Please do leave a comment if you download any of my images as I would love to hear from you.

Hope you like my card, I made it for my cousin, who had a baby a little while ago.

Thank you for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated. We are all looking forward to seeing you at CRAFT Challenge again this week. The prize this week is this gorgeous new stamp by Debbie:

Week 37 at CRAFT Challenge, Digi Colouring

Thursday again and another challenge at CRAFT Challenge again. This week our challenge is Digi colouring. In other words we want you to create a project in which you use a digistamp that your colour yourself. With loads of digistamps available these days, that should be relatively easy. Digistamps are brilliant as you can resize them and add them to other existing images as well. I have a few of my own digistamps free to download on my sister blog 'Trimgym's Digistamps and Images', feel free to have a look.

Well, here is my card for this challenge, a quickie using 2 digistamps by our sponsor of this week 'Digital Delights', who are donating a $10 gift voucher for the winner. Hope you like it.

I used the sketch from the current challenge at Create4Fun and will be entering the card in their challenge as well.

It has also been entered into:

Hope you like my card, thank you for looking and all comments very welcome and much appreciated. Have a good weekend!

Jo.

Have you seen my sisterblog 'Trimgym's digistamps and images' yet?

Hello everyone,

I have a sisterblog now as well, where I am slowly downloading all my own digistamps, 3D decoupage sheets and backgrounds to. As I don't have a lot of them, this is a slow progress, about one every week or so. Most of them have already been seen on this blog, but, they are now being transferred to my sisterblog Trimgym's digistamps and images. They are there free (for the foreseeable future) to download (please leave a comment, so I know you have done and like them), use for personal use only, leave my signature on, do not claim as your own and if you would like to share them, then please direct people to my blog.

Feel free to have a look at my new blog and become a follower. I would love to see you there. If you do decide to make anything using my stamps and images, I would love to see your creations, please link them to my blog, so I can pop by yours and see them.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Love,

Jo.

Allsorts Challenge and DT call card.

Hello everyone,

Here is a card that I made today for the Allsorts Challenge and DT call. Hope they liked it. For this challenge the brief was to follow a sketch, unfortunately I did not quite have the right size of square card for this image. I therefore had to adapt it slightly to fit an A4 card. Hope they don't mind. It's also one of the cards I have already made for Christmas this year. The image is from David Tunis, the papers from Funky Fairies and A Scrap Away. Hope you like them and the card I made with them.

The first image is of the card, before I noticed it was missing some embellishments, however, it does show the sketch a little better.

Thanks for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated. Hope they like my card, there are quite a few more cards to look at on my blog if you like.

I guess it's now time to tidy up again and get things sorted for school run and swimming lessons.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Love,

Jo.
