And here is what I created this week. For this card I used the Thankful papers by Toucan Scraps. The image is a freebie from Meljen's Designs from quite some time ago. Hope you like it.

Our sponsor this week is Craft Obsessions and the price for this week's winner will be a £10 voucher to spend at Craft Obsessions.

Thank you for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated. Do keep a look out for the changes coming up at CRAFT Challenge, we will soon be starting with a Top3.

Karen's Doodles NL card

Evening all, not sure if I'm on time for this one, I believe it closes at 8pm. This week at Karen's Doodles NL the brief was to make a card with a hidden message, and here is my interpretation of it. Hope you like it. Looks like I missed that challenge and I therefore enter it in the Scandinavian challenge instead, the sketch is quite similar to the one I used.
The papers are from Toucan Scraps' new kit 'Tell my Story'.

Thank you all for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated.

Jo.

Another card using Pink n Wild kit from Toucan Scraps

Evening all,

I still wanted to quickly upload this card that I made using Angela aka Toucan Scraps' Pink n Wild Kit. Even the image used is part of the kit, the sentiment I had from a freebie with a magazine.

Hope you like the card and don't forget, you can find her shops at 3scrapateers and at Stitchy Bear Stamps.

Thank you for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated.

Jo.

CRAFT Challenge 31, thank you! and a Very Merry Christmas and a Fabulous 2010 to all!

First of all I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Fabulous 2010! This year has been great and I have really enjoyed being a part of the lovely design team at CRAFT Challenge. Looking forward to remaining part of this team for quite some time yet. Little Tiger also sends her love, just been a bit too busy lately to do much. I'm sure she'll soon get back to taking part again.

It's been a really busy time over here as well, just like it will probably have been in all your homes. Getting the house ready for Christmas, getting all Christmas cards sorted. Well, that's all done for this year, guess I'll need to get started on next year's soon and be a bit more organised than I have been. The girls at work joked that they didn't know how I had time to make them all a card for Christmas and that I probably did not sleep ever. Must say I'm overdue a bit of a lie-in by several weeks, LOL.

Our prize this week is going to be some more lovely goodies that have been put up by a donor who wishes to remain anonymous, how generous can people be. Whoever the donor is, we do appreciate it all very, very much, and in the spirit of this week, 'Thank You!!'.

And here it is:
certainly worth taking part in our challenge for, I would think.

Ok, here is finally my card for this week, another last minute one, that I quickly put together last night to have ready for the challenge. Hope you like it. I'm just so glad that I have some 3D images ready to use on cards already just in case. It is very simple in design, couldn't do anything more exciting in the time left to create it I'm afraid. Will try harder again next time. This week our challenge to you is to create a project with the title 'Thank You'. I'm sure you'll think of something for it and will join us again. Last week we had loads of entries, thank you, we loved looking at all your creations and some very beautiful ones we've seen. This week's challenge will be running for 2 weeks to give the design team and everyone else some quality family time as well. Looking forward to seeing all of your lovely creations again this week.

Have a great Christmas and a Fabulous 2010 all !!!

Love,

Jo.

Challenge 6 at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge, Inspiration picture.

Good morning all. It's time for the sixth challenge at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge already.

This time we have an inspiration picture for you, a 'thank you teacher' project. As I have 4 kids, there are always plenty of those that need doing at the end of the school year. Hope you like the one I have chosen and made for this challenge. I just think this image is soooo very cute.

To make this card, I used a pearlescent pink base card, added some rose background paper from an old issue of Making Cards magazine, then added a free background paper from Funky Fairies (for the link, see the side banner of my blog). I found the 3D image on the net somewhere (photobucket, I believe) and just wanted to have it for this card. I guess it would do well for a birthday card as well, so may do something similar for some of the cards I need to make for the school summer fayre.

Thank you for looking, all comments as always welcome and much appreciated. I hope you will all join us again at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge this week. See you there as well!
Love,
Jo.
