Last card for today, challenge card for Delightful Insipiration.

And here is the last card done today using a free image from Designs2Delight, you can find the shop here, and papers from the Dawn Papers, Di-der Minikit and Love Papers from Toucan Scraps. Hope you like what I have done with the image and papers. The star gems have also made this into a Touchy Feely card in line with the current challenge at Cute Card Thursday.

Thank you all for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated.

Love,

Jo.

Card for UK Karen's Doodles Challenge.

Here is another card I made today, this one is following the Karen's Doodles UK Challenge brief of 'something with wings. As you can see the papers I have used, which are from Always Be Neighbors Designs, Morning Solitude papers and on the inside decorated with papers from the Love range from Toucan Scraps, are showing some birds. Except for that I have also added some butterfly gems, so the wings are well covered I think. Due to adding the gems, I feel that the card has become Touchy Feely as well in line with the Cute Card Thursday challenge this week.

Hope you like this card as well, the image is Bigsby Juggling from Karen's Doodles.

Card for Dutch Karen's Doodles Challenge.

Good evening,

Another day filled with fun things like ironing (not), washing (not) and crafting (YES!). It's back to school tomorrow for the kids and back to work again for me. So, today was the last bit of guaranteed time for crafting till the weekend again. May have a bit of time in between work, schoolruns and the like, but not much I'm sure.

Here is a card I made for the Dutch Karen's Doodles Blog using papers by Toucan Scraps ( From Dawn Papers, Love and Victorian Parlour range). Hope you like it. The image is Bigsby Juggling from Karen's Doodles printed on some of these papers and then cut and paper pieced. It has been glued into place using silicone glue to give it just that little bit more of dimension. The challenge this week is paper piecing, so I think I've done that. I've also added a flower and gem, which makes the card quite Touchy Feely as well and therefore fulfills the criteria to be entered into this week's Cute Card Thursday as well.

So, here are some views from the front and the inside of the card. Decorating the isnside of the card just makes it look that little more finished, don't you think?

Thank you for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated and for my Dutch fellow crafters who might visit my blog: Leuk dat jullie langs komen en ik hoop jullie gauw weer te zien!

Love,

Jo.

Card for Scandinavian Karen's Doodles Challenge blog and Cute Card Thursday.

Here is another card I made tonight. This one is again using some gorgeous papers by Toucan Scraps, this time from her Love range. The papers used are Dark Pink and StripePaper.

I have made this card using the sketch from the Scandinavian Karen's Doodles Challenge blog and one of the Karen's Doodles images and also feel it fits in with the Touchy Feely challenge at Cute Card Thursday.

Hope you like my card.

Here are some views of the front of the finished card.

And here is a view of the inside of the card, using the same papers again.

And a few views of the card before I added the last touches to it.

Thank you for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated.

If you like the papers, don't forget to pay a visit to Angela aka Toucan Scraps' shop.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Love,

Jo.

Challenge card for Karen's Doodles Challenge and Cute Card Thursday Challenge.

Dear all,

Good evening to you all. I have been busy playing with some new papers I've got from Toucan Scraps and used them for this lovely birthday card using a sketch from Karen's Doodles US challenge blog and image from Karen's Doodles. Hope you like it. The papers used are: Blue Plaid and Blue Wood (inside of card) from the Toucan Scraps Dawn Papers Range as well as some papers from her Victorian Parlour Range. Do have a look at her shop for her lovely range of papers. I have also used the brief from the Cute Card Thursday challenge, which is Touchy Feely. Hope you like my interpretation of both challenges.

So, here are some views of  the front of the finished card:

Here are 2 views of the inside of the card.

And here are some views of the card before I noticed I still needed to add the sentiment, oops!

And some close ups of the flower, which I assembled myself using some flower petals of different sizes and colours I had and a little pearly gem and a close up of the stamp used.

Thank you for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated. If you like the papers used, don't forget to pay Angela's aka Toucan Scraps' shop a visit, she has a wide range of gorgeous papers.

Jo.

Birthday card and combined challenge card

Hello everyone,

Today I quickly made a card for one of my youngest class mates. She is having her

birthday party tomorrow and we received the invite earlier this week. Although she will only be 6 on her birthday, I think she will probably like the image I have chosen. The background papers I'm not really sure about, probably more suitable for someone a little bit older.

I have used a garden fairy decoupage image layered onto 3 different Funky Fairies papers. 2 from the swirly range, pink and brown and one from the birds range, a turquoise one. The papers have been die cut using scalloped edged rectangle nestibilities and classic oval nestibilities in my Big Shot.

I therefore believe this cards fits in with several challenges.

1. Allsorts Challenge blog , the challenge there is 'Curly Swirly' and I feel it is fit for purpose with the swirls papers.

2. Charisma Cardz Thursday Challenge where the challenge is a colour combo pink/brown. I feel it fits the bill there as well.

3. Cute Card Thursday, the challenge is to 'A Nip and a Punch'. You need to use your punches or die cuts, I made some diecut pieces of paper to mount the image on, so feel it fits this challenge as well.

4. Shapes and More where the challenge is to use scrolls/swirls in your card, fits again.

5. Creative Card Crew Challenge, where the brief is child's play, a kid's card.

6. And last, but not least I'm also entering it in Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge, where the challenge is Pink, Turquoise and a hint of brown, and this card fits the bill there as well.

Hope you all like the card and of course especially the birthday girl. All comments are very welcome and very much appreciated. Thank you for looking.

Love,

Jo.
