CRAFT Challenge 151, Wedding/Anniversary

Morning all,

Time for challenge 150 already at CRAFT Challenge. This time our challenge is 'Wedding/Anniversary' and this subject has become rather appropriate as my mum announced last week that she will be getting married later this year.. We have got several sponsors again this week and I have used images/papers from all as well as from myself. Hope you like the cards.

(using an image from CraftsuPrint)

(inside the card my own Retirement verse)

(using another CraftsuPrint image)

(what a lovely anniversary present this was)

(using Kitty Cat Love from Meljen's Designs, the papers are my own using the colours used in the stamp)

(using Teddy Bear Couple from Meljen's Designs)

(using Some Bunny Loves You from Wags n Whiskers)

In case you wonder how I have done these, I have coloured the stamps, then scanned them and printed them on the papers (png).

Hope you like them, I certainly enjoyed doing them.

Love,

Jo.

Another Easel card I love.

Here is another Easel card I created recently. I created the template myself (cat shaped) and used my own papers for this one as well. The image is from Meljens Designs. Hope you like it.

Thanks for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated.

Craft Challenge 142, No Designer Papers.

A rather late post as this challenge has already finished. I wanted to share the cards created for this with you anyway. Just been a little busy of late I'm afraid.

Here are my cards, using some of my own Easel card templates/sheets. Hope you like them.

(using 'Pirate Johnny' from Meljen's Designs)

I thought this shell shape would fit well with the image.

(using 'Snowy Friends' from Love To Stamp)

I felt a bell shape would fit well with a Christmas card and I have embossed the card using my big shot. The stamp is from Love To Stamp and I love this cute image.

And here are a few more No designer papers Christmas cards, using the same template and embossing plates from my big shot.

(using a freebie from Sassy Studio Designs a few weeks back)

(using a free image from Sliekje)

Here are some more Christmas cards I made using the Meljen's Designs images available for this challenge. Hope you like these as well. I have used my Star Easel card sheets for these cards.

(cozy winter raccoon, isn't he cute?)

(teeny mouse hugs, love these as well)

Thank you for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated.

Love,

Jo.

A Christmas card for CDAC 10.

Afternoon all,

I have had a rather crafty weekend and been working hard at developing a few templates for Easel cards. I had never done these before and thought it was about time I tried one as well. I started rather conservatively with one from Craftsuprint that I got some years ago as a freebie. That is the one below.

This was a very easy, print, cut and stick together one with a decoupage image. So, a quick Christmas card ticked of this year's list again.

Following this, as is not that unusual for me, lol, I went a little over the top. I decided that now that I knew how they basically work it would not be that difficult for me to actually design an Easelcard with a shape I would enjoy. I used my own 'Blue Christmas' papers for these Easelcard sheets. They are easy to use, print, cut out and stick together, then add your chosen image and further embellishments.

Here is a collection of the different sheets I designed (I did say I went a little over the top, lol).

I must admit that took most of my Saturday and Sunday after the housework. At least I managed to get my first card using one of these sheets for one of my Christmas cards for 2012. I am going to enter this one into the challenge (10) at   CDAC progressive freebie challenge.

I have used an image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps.

"cdacpc10, bug"

And here is the card I created, hope you like it. I have also used a sentiment from Ginger's House.

I will also be entering these cards (especially the bottom one) at  Christmas Cards All Year Round challenge.

Enjoy the rest of the week and keep a look out for our next challenge at CRAFT Challenge tomorrow.

Love,

Jo.
