Third card of the night.

This is my third card using a Verve sketch, this time slightly adapted as I felt the circle shape looked better here on this particular card.

The shapes have been cut out using nestibilities.

Hope you like it, I feel it's a really cute image, clarity of pictures could be better, may try some better ones in the daylight.

Thank you for looking, all comments welcome and very much appreciated.

Second card of the night

My next card is one using another sketch from Verve (see previous post for link). This time using a cat 3D decoupage image to form a birthday card. Hope you like it, I'm quite pleased with the card (not so with the pictures, so I may try to get some better ones in the morning in the day light).

Thank you for looking, all comments very much appreciated and welcome.

New challenge card

Good evening everyone!

Just had a relatively busy evening and managed to make 4 cards in preparation of the school summerfayre, which means a total of 9 so far. Need to be really working quickly now as there is just over a week to go. This card has used a sketch from Verve.

They currently have a challenge to make 5 cards using sketches, one of them being from Mojo Monday (that's where I found the link) and upload them all onto the challenge by Friday at the latest. So far done 4, so hopefully will be able to do 5th tomorrow and finish the challenge on time.

This is a thank you teacher card, using several free papers and a Teddy with books decoupage image.

Hope you like it.

It also fits in with the challenge at Colour Create as well, so I'm entering it there as well.

The images of the card are below. All comments are very welcome and much appreciated. Thank you for looking.

Another male card for Creative Belli Blog Challenge.

And here is the second male card I've made today for the Creative Belli Blog (see my other post today). I used the same kind of raw materials, but used a different 3D decoupage image. This time rugby players in tackle. Another one as well for the school summer fayre.

Hope you like it, all comments very welcome and much appreciated as usual.

Card one for Creative Belli Blog challenge.

Hope you are enjoying your Monday. Last 'weekend' day of the week for me. This weekend I have been busily crafting and here is one I did today. A male birthday card for the school summer fayre this year. For this card I used the sketch from Creative Belli Blog for this week. I felt it would suit this card quite well. I am quite pleased with how it turned out.

For this card, I used a 3D golfer decoupage image and mounted it on a few different background papers diecut with some nestibilities. Added a ribbon and 2 stars and there it is.

Hope you like it. Thank you for looking and all comments are welcome and much appreciated.
Now all we need to do is hope it will sell and will raise some money for school as planned.
Love,
Jo.

Second card of today, this one for Leeanne's sketch challenge at Trimcraft.

A busy day today, managed to make 2 cards for the school summer fayre and looked at some of the sketches available in challenges. This is one I found at Trimcraft, Leeanne is currently holding a weekly sketch challenge. Hope you like my take on it with a boy's birthday card.

Thank you again for looking, all comments are much appreciated and very welcome. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday night.

Card for Mojo Monday challenge.

Hello all,

I managed to make 2 cards today, one for Mojo Monday, ABC Challenge and for Allsorts, the other for a challenge on Trimcraft (Leeanne's sketch). Will probably only be able to upload one of them tonight, so here is the first card. It is also my first (possibly second) card for the school summer fayre. Hope you like it. I quite like the quite image on the front a lovely 3D decoupage image I found.
For this card, I have used the sketch from Mojo Monday.
I feel it has a summery feel to it to fit with S is for Summer at ABC Challenge.
I also feel it fits in with the wings challenge at Allsorts Challenge blog.
Hope you all like it, I think it is a cute card, that I might very well use myself if it isn't sold.
Thanks for looking, all comments are very welcome and much appreciated as always.
Love,
Jo.

Challenge card for Crafty Pad and a Spoonful of Sugar.

Good evening, a late entry this time. I only just managed to find a very little bit of time today to work on this card. I was planning to make a card for this week's Crafty Pad's challenge, a well done, congratulations or good luck card and here it is, using the sketch from this week's a Spoonful of Sugar challenge. I hope you like it.

For this card I used several free papers from Funky Fairies (and some other free papers), a ribbon and some flower embellishments. I also used a 'Just Teddy with flower' stamp from the Crafty Pad, coloured it in, scanned it and printed it off 8 times to form 7 layers for the image. Hope you like it. I certainly enjoyed all the stages, colouring with watercolour pencils and all.

I'm not sure who I am going to use this card for yet, I may even make it the first card for the craft stall at the school's summer fayre. That would then one of a possible 25 done.

Well, thank you all again for looking and all comments are very welcome again as usual.

Love,

Jo.

Challenge 5 at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge, Sketch -to follow

Time for challenge 5 at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge already!
This time there is a sketch to follow. Hope you like it. And do come and join us there! Looking forward to seeing your creations!

I used this sketch to make a birthday card for my father-in-law, who had his birthday on the 14th of June. The background papers I created myself and just cut them to size and stuck them onto a square card. Instead of a round area for the sentiment I chose an oval. Hope they will allow this as ok. It is a bit of a stretched circle anyway, right?

As he loves tennis, that was the main brief I gave myself for this card. I will share the background papers below.

And here are the backgrounds and inserts as promised. For personal use only though!

It is ok to use the above backgrounds and inserts for your own use only.
Thanks for looking, all comments are very welcome and much appreciated as ever.
Love,
Jo.

Thank you card for challenges.

Hello again!

Third entry on my blog today already and one of the cards I made today with a few things in mind. No. 1, the kids will soon be needing some thank you cards for their teachers.

There were also some challenges I was hoping to enter into.

Here is the card, using a sketch from Sketch Saturday, Roses for the ABC Challenge, Thank you with some free Funky Fairies papers for their challenge, triangles for the challenge at Allsorts, it also fits with the colours this week at Colour Create and with the Simon says challenge and with Paperblooms as well. Also with the Creative Card Crew challenge (geometric patterns). It could even fit the pink elephannt inspirational play along. And as it is 'up to you' at Lots to do it also fits there. I wonder if that is a record. It is for me I guess.

Well here is the card:

I am going to enter this card into these challenges:
So, that is my offering. Hope you like it. I think it's a really cute card.
Thanks for looking, any comments are welcome and appreciated.
Love,
Jo.
