Hello again everyone,
Over the weekend I have been working on a wedding card for a cousin of my husband, who is getting married in the near future. Unfortunately we won't be able to attend as we will both be at work and our daughter will also be doing her SATs at the time.
So, the next best thing was to make her a wedding card. I hope she will like it, but then, who doesn't like cute?
Here are some pictures of the card. It is a bit of a popup kind of card. (with decorated envelope)

Just a quick view of the front of the card.

For this card I used several free images from photobucket, I edited the backing papers for my own need, having the wedding couple small sized on the outside of the card and slightly bigger on the inside of the card. This card is a relatively simple one.
The outside of the card can be seen below. I put a large version of the couple on a heart shape on the middle of the inside backing paper and cut this out, it was then stuck to the back of the card for the added bit of detail paid to the card.

For the card I used 2 A4 sized pieces of card, the outside card folded in the middle and the inside of the card 1cm each side of the middle of the card.
The outside of the card was covered with the backing paper, then a decoupage image of a bride and groom was stuck onto some gold card with foam pads and this was again put onto the front of the card with some foam pads. On the backing paper I also put the sentiment as it is quite difficult to get Dutch sentiments in the UK easily.
I put the names of the bride and groom on the front of the card each side of the decoupaged image with peel off gold letters.
The inside of the outside card was covered with the same backing paper used for the inside card (with the exception of the sentiment inside)to show the image behind the heart shape.
The inside card was then covered with the backing paper, the heart cut out and the inside card again folded (valley folds this time) 2cm to the outside of the earlier 2 folds. It was then stuck onto the outside card with double sided sticky tape up to the valley folds.
Another little decoupage couple was assembled and stuck on the middle of the inside card, partially covering the lower end of the heart.
You can see some pictures of the inside below.

And here is a close up of the decoupage image on the front of the card.

And here are the backgrounds I have edited and used for the card.
The one for the inside of the card

and the two for inside and outside.

Hope you like the card, comments are welcome and appreciated, thank you for looking.
Love,
Jo.
