Designed2Delight time again.

I did a little bit of crafting today, finally some time for me again. One of the cards I made today was with this week's free image from Designed2Delight for their challenge using some of the Pink n Wild papers from Toucan Scraps as well as some card which I embossed using my Big Shot. The base card was embossed as well. This to also qualify for the Double Delight challenge this week.

Unfortunately it does not show up very well, I guess it's just a bit too dark at the moment. Hope you like the card anyway, I think the image is really cute.

Hope you like it. Thanks for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated.

Love,

Jo.

CRAFT Challenge 74, Monotone.

OOPS!

Just noticed I forgot to do my post for CRAFT Challenge DT card here today (and my daughter's as well, I'm sure). Been quite busy this week though. I have been trying to organise sponsorship for the challenge blog as well as making one card (I desperately need some Christmas cards to be done as well) and trying to entertain the family at the same time as it is half term here. My hubby of course doesn't like being neglected either.

Well, down to this week's challenge at CRAFT Challenge. Our brief this week is MONOTONE, although Rozzy very rightly pointed out it should have been monochrome istead. So at the very least we want one colour to be the main if not the only one of the card/project.

Here is my card. I have used Katie Kitty from Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More, our sponsor this week and some of her Coney Island papers to coordinate with these.

Hope you like it.

Thanks for looking and looking forward to seeing all your creations!

Love,

Jo.

Another marriage between Designed2Delight and Toucan Scraps.

Evening all,

I just made a quick card using this week's image from Designed2Delight, available free to all who played last week and for sale at their shop for all others (and isn't it cute?!) and papers from the autumn papers 'Kicking Leaves' from Toucan Scraps. I also used the recipe from Double Delights to use raffia. Fortunately I had kept some that was part of the wrapping of a candle I bought some time ago. The sentiment has been mounted on a piece of wood, which was previously part of a box for camembert. Recycling as well, lol.

Hope you like the card, I really do like this image and these papers.

Thank you for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated.

Love,

Jo.

CRAFT Challenge 73, Spooky.

A spooky Thursday to you!

This week we are preparing for Halloween. Our challenge this week at CRAFT Challenge is therefore 'Spooky'. I wonder what everyone will come up with.

Here is my card for this week. I have used papers from the Tell My Story range by Toucan Scraps and the image is from my fellow Trimmie Spyder aka Lynn. Hope you like it.

Do come over to CRAFT Challenge again this week, our sponsor this week is Craft Obsessions, who are offering a £10 voucher to the winner. What couldn't you do with that, right?

Entered at Crafts4Eternity.

Happy crafting and have a great weekend!

Love,

Jo.

CRAFT Challenge 72, Colour palette Ovation.

Hello everyone,

At CRAFT Challenge this week, our challenge is a colour palette this time. It is Eileen's colour palette Ovation and you can find it below my card. She very kindly left behind a few backing papers for us to work with as well and I have used them in this card. The image used is Rainy Day Sam by Gina from Your Special Delivery and she is offering this image to the winner. You can find this and some other lovely doodles on her new blog Sam and Sally Doodles.

And here is the colour palette.

Thank you for looking and have a great and crafty weekend.

Love,

Jo.

A card for Toucan Scraps and Delightful Inspiration.

Here is a quick card I made this evening using the free image from Designed2Delight for the challenge at Delightful Inspiration. I thought this would make a great Get Well card. The papers are from the Kicking Leaves range by Toucan Scraps, new for October. Hope you like it. Unfortunately the picture isn't very good, too dark here at the moment and didn't have an earlier chance to make this card.

and here is a better picture of it:

Jo. (will make a better picture when the light is back)
