CRAFT Challenge 52, a colour combo.

Morning all,

Our blogaversary blog hop week is over, scroll down to see the winner on my blog.

Well, it's another Thursday, so time for the next challenge at CRAFT Challenge. This week we want you to create something using the colours blue and green. I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

Here is my card for this challenge:

For this card I used:
* an image I created myself, you can find it on my sister blog (see side banner)
* sentiments I made myself, also on my sister blog.
* papers from Angela aka Toucan Scraps, her 'Dawn Papers' range.

You can find the Toucan Scraps papers and kits at 3scrapateers and Stitchy Bear Stamps.

Thank you for looking, all comments very welcome. I love seeing your creations and will visit your blogs where I can. As I will be on holiday next week with no access to the internet, I will not be able to visit all entries next week. I hope you all have a great bankholiday week with lovely weather.

Love,

Jo.

Winner of blog hop

For my stop on the blog hop that is number 24, which is Alysha of Simply Angelic Cards.

Congratulations Alysha, and please e-mail us on CRAFT Challenge so we can organise your prize for you.

Jo.

Second and last week as GDT at Karen's Doodles NL/Tweede week als GDT bij Karen's Doodles NL

Morning all/ Goeiemorgen blogvrienden,
It's Tuesday again, which means another challenge at Karen's Doodles NL, this week already challenge 12 and this week there is an inspiration picture. (see later) Of course a Karen's Doodles will be needed for this challenge again as well. Looking forward to what you come up with.

Here is a preview of my card, hope you like it. I have used 'Just For You' from Karen's Doodles for this card, a variety of papers, a piece of ribbon that came with a free kit with a magazine and some free gems as well. I'm quite pleased with this card, and the image is just too cute.

And this is the inspiration picture:

En dit is de inspiratie foto:

Now for a few close ups:

Nu wat close ups:

Thank you for looking and all comments very welcome and much appreciated. I have really enjoyed being part of the DT as guest DT for the last 2 weeks and hope I will be able to come back at some stage in the future. I will aim to come and see all your entries to the current challenge, but will be away next week for a week's holiday with the family without any access to the internet. Hope I can be forgiven for not being able to comment on all.

Love/Groetjes,

Jo.

Blogaversary Blog Hop at CRAFT Challenge this week!

Wow! It doesn't seem like a year since C.R.A.F.T  Challenge was born, a lickle, new baby blog.....aaahhhhh!...........all pink and cuddly and smelling of embossing powder.....

And here we are now, a year later, lots of followers, but still having loads and loads of fun.

So, it's our birthday and we’re celebrating in suitable style by having a fun blog-hop as well as our usual Challenge which, this week, is Birthday or Celebrations. You should have arrived here from Enola's blog.

To give you some inspiration for the challenge, here is my project for this week:

I have made two projects this week, one is a lovely pyramid box from Toucan Scraps from the 'Butterfly Kisses' range. I have printed this kit out a few times so the flowers and butterflies could be in 3D decoupage. This lovely kit is for sale at her shop at Stitchy Bear. You could also be in with a chance of winning this kit on this stop as Angela, aka Toucan Scraps is the sponsor on my blog stop. The prize here is one of 6 digi paper packs OR one of the boxes from her Stitchy Bear shop. The winner's choice.

Read on for further details on how to win.

The second part of the project is a card made using papers from Angela aka Toucan Scraps again, this is from her new kit 'Pink n Wild' and you can find this kit and many more at her shop at 3scrapateers. The sketch is from one of my fellow trimmies, Rozzy, the image is from Designed2Delight and will also be entered in that challenge. (Her shop is here)

Here are some close ups of the box and card:

Your prize for the Challenge this week is a lovely set of Papermania 'Henbury Lane' DesignerPapers and accessories, including beautiful adhesive gems, gorgeous blooms and a wonderful wood-mounted rubber stamp!

Now what d'you think of that! - Fabulous eh?!

We have lots of lovely individual sponsors for our Blog Hop too!
It’s going to be a lot of fun with prizes and draws at each stop and a final winner at the end, so don’t be a square—be there! -and be in with a chance to win!

Our blog-hop order is this:-

1) You start on the C.R.A.F.T Challenge blog and you visit each Design Team Member’s personal blog and leave a comment.

2) At each stop there will be a RED word associated with crafting for you to collect

3) We’re staying with our customary alphabetical list for the team so Andrea is the next stop after the C.R.A.F.T Challenge blog.
Andrea will give you the link to the nest DTM and so on.

4) At the end, we want you to get back to C.R.A.F.T and leave us a comment with the nine words you pick up! If you can make a sentence so much the better!

Just to make it clear for you to follow - here is our DT in alphabetical order.

Andrea
Claire
Eileen
Enola
Jo (that's me)
Magda
Rose
Suzi
Tigerlover

We're SO Looking forward to seeing who comes up with the correct sentence as we have a really fabulous new sponsor for that - QVC's Scrapbooking Expert, Rosemary Merry!

She is kindly having a good look through her stock at Crabapple Crafts to find something lovely for that clever crafter (who will be chosen from the corrrect answers by random generator) who gets the sentence right!
Now how cool is THAT!

And that is in addition to all the prizes available at our Design Team Members' own blogs! My sponsor as said is Angela aka Toucan Scraps, you can find her shops at 3scrapateers and at Stitchy Bear. The prize on offer: one of 6 packs of digipapers OR boxes from her Stitchy Bear shop of the winner's choice. All you need to do is leave me a comment and become a follower of my blog. (don't worry if you don't have a blog, you can still leave a comment) The winner will be chosen randomly.

Now for some serious business:

The word you are looking for on my blog is SCISSORS and your next stop is Magda. If you get lost along the way, just return to the CRAFT Challenge blog and pick up where you left off.

Enough said! So off you go! Enjoy - and have yourselves some crafty fun - it's gonna be GREAT!

And obviously: good luck to you all and have a great weekend!

Love,

Jo.

GDT at Karen's Doodles NL/ Gast Designer bij Karen's Doodles NL

Morning all/ Goeiemorgen allemaal,

Today it's time for another challenge at Karen's Doodles NL. If you haven't seen any of Karen's great doodles yet, go and have a look here. You're sure to come away with some great images. Karen is a great artist, who does some really fabulous images.

This (and next) week I have the great honour of being Guest designer at the Dutch Karen's Doodles challenge blog. This week the brief is to make a project using one of Karen's Doodles and only left over bits of paper/scraps. I have used some left over bits of paper after some parts had been used for nestibilities diecuts. I then used a bigger nestibility to get a border for the base shapes. I also used some scraps of paper to use and get some shapes out of (the circle).

The image used is called Cruisin' and I think it's really a fab image. The card itself is for my now 11-year old son. He had his birthday yesterday (and was really pleased with the card).

Hope you like it and will come and play with us at Karen's Doodles NL.

Thank you for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated.

Love,
Groetjes,

Jo.

GDT for Karen's Doodles, I feel sooo lucky!

Evening all,

I thought I would just quickly let you know that I have the great good fortune to be guest designer on the Dutch Karen's Doodles challenge blog for the 18th (tomorrow) and the 25th of May 2010. I absolutely love Karen's Doodles and have been lucky enough to have been allowed to choose 3 of her gorgeous doodles for free. 2 to use on the challenges and one to use on a different challenge. Will try and put it to use really soon, I have already coloured all 3 stamps and 2 are still waiting to be used. I do realise you may well be rather looking forward to looking at the card, but sorry, you will have to wait till tomorrow to see it. All I can tell you, is that it's my son's birthday card. He had his 11th birthday today. Happy Birthday no 2 son! We love you loads!
Hope you've had a great day and many happy returns of course.

See you all tomorrow!

Love,

Jo.

Thursday means another challenge at CRAFT Challenge again!

Morning all,

Another Thursday, another challenge at CRAFT Challenge.

This week our sponsor is Kut4U.

Our challenge this week is to create a card using a sketch by our lovely Eileen. Don't worry, the sketch looks worse than it really is. It's lovely really.

Here is my card. It is one of the many Christmas cards I need to make for this year. I have used some freebie backing papers, some from Funky Fairies and an image from Paper Cupcakes. It's one I won in a There's Magic In The Air challenge some time ago.

Hope you like it.

All comments very welcome and much appreciated. Have a good weekend.

Love,

Jo.

Card for Design2Delight

Evening all,

I just managed to do a card today for the Design2Delight challenge. I was unable to take part last week, but as it is the first week of the month, the digistamp was free for all this week. And a lovely one at that.

* a ribbon and

Thank you for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated. Do keep a look out for a new card coming up for CRAFT Challenge tomorrow as well, as we will have our next challenge starting tomorrow again as usual.

CRAFT Challenge 49, Cake-Wedding/Anniversary.

Thursday again, the first one of May this year. This week at CRAFT Challenge our brief to you is to create a project with the subject Cake-Wedding/Anniversary.

My card this week is an Anniversary card for my in-laws, who will be celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary later this year. Hope you like it.

For this card I have used an image from Karen's Doodles and papers from the Deborah's Wedding range from our sponsor this week, Angela aka Toucan Scraps. She is donating a product of your choice from her shop at 3 scrapateers for the winner. Certainly worth taking part for as she has some gorgeous kits for sale there.

So, here is my card. Hope you like it.

And some close-ups:

Some views of the inside of the card:

Thank you for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated. Hope to see you all join us again.

Also an apology to all those that took part over the last week and I have not been able to visit due to being struck down with a tummybug over the last week. I have also had some problems with my internet connection over the last few days as well. Hope it will be easier this week.

Have a good weekend all!

Love,

Jo.
