I have not had a lot of time lately to make cards and spend time on the web. I did manage to make 2 birthday cards earlier this week though. This one is one I made for one of my cousins, who has her birthday on the 10th of April. Uploading it today is therefore very appropriate.
Below you can have a sneaky first peek at the card. It is another swivelcard using a decoupage image from http://thelilacgardendecoupagesite.co.uk/, see for image a little later as well.

This is the decoupage image used as mentioned above. It is really worth checking out this site as it has very lovely decoupage images that can be downloaded and used for free if for personal use only. (http://thelilacgardendecoupagesite.co.uk/)
To make the card I cut and pasted the main bear image of the decoupage image several times to make an A4 background, I printed this off on A4 peach card for the outer part of the card (double sided printing this time).I also printed it off on the side of the inner A4 card that is facing the outer card. Another A4 background was adapted for the inside of the card which has an oval area that can be used to put the message.

And here are some images of the finished card, the decoupage image has been mounted on some brown card before adding it to the window. For full instructions on how to make this type of card it is worth looking at my previous cards on here, especially at this blog entry http://trimgym.blogspot.com/2009/03/instructions-requested-for-earlier-made.html.

Here is a picture of the outside of the card. I printed off 3 copies of the backing paper from Crafts Beautiful and cut out 3 different layers for decoupage for the added 3D effect. On top of it are 2 stamps 'It's a boy!' and 'Congratulations' with of course at the back of the card a 'Handmade by' stamped image. As you can possibly already see it is another of the pop out cards.
