CRAFT Challenge 133, Christmas Card With Removable Item.

Last Thursday brought another challenge at CRAFT Challenge again, last week our challenge was 'Christmas Card With Removable Item'. 

And here are my 2 cards for this week.
For the first one I used an image by Bows and Berries Digital Stamps, 'Warm Penguin'. For this card I used the tutorial that Annette did for us last year for a gatefold card with tag insert. I'm afraid I had to resort to this rather simple interpretation of our challenge due to a lack of time. I have since made another 30 similar cards, which I will upload later. 

The basecard used is from a collection of 25 different coloured card from LIDL and the printed vellum comes from art packs, also from LIDL. Hope you like it.

And here is my second card, using an image from the CDAC progressive freebie challenge by  Crafty Ann's, this combined with an image by Karen's Doodles, 'Emma's Snowscene'. I used this image previously last year and then used waterpaint to colour it. I was smart enough to scan it at the time and therefore was able to combine the coloured image with the empty globe from Crafty Ann's. 

This is again a gatefold card with tag insert, which again uses the papers mentioned before. Hope you like it.

CRAFT Challenge 132, Sketch.

A little late, but I've been rather busy. Here are my cards for the ongoing challenge at CRAFT Challenge at the moment. I hope you can join us.
This week our challenge is a 'Sketch'. You can see the sketch used below.

For the first one I used an image by Glitterbabe, 'Mailbox'. The papers used are from our other sponsor this week Floppy Latte Designs, 'Sophisticate'. Hope you like it. The ribbon is a bargain from LIDL, they have 3 rolls with Christmas ribbons (5m each) for £2.49 at the moment. Ideal for wrapping presents, or more to my liking, for Christmas cards, lol.

CRAFT Challenge 130, Unusual Christmas.

Hello again,

I hope you will be joining us again for our new challenge at CRAFT Challenge this week. As subject this week we have 'Unusual Christmas'. In other words anything that is unusual for Christmas. Whether it is colours, subject, image, etc.

Our sponsors this week are Craft Obsessions and The Stamping Boutique, I have also used images from Digi Doodle Shop, who will be sponsoring our Star of the Month November.

For my cards this week it is the colours of the background papers that are unusual. They are all papers I created myself and I hope you like them.

First card:

Using 'Carolling Snowmen' from The Stamping Boutique and misprints from my Savannah papers (using Eiglas' colour palette), ink ran out, lol.
