Toucan Scraps Rainbow papers. Some invites.

A few weeks ago I made some invites for my youngest son, who celebrated his 8th birthday 2 weeks ago. I know, I should have posted them earlier really. A lot of things were going on though, only to think all the changes at CRAFT Challenge that I had to coordinate and level out. Now that things seem to be a bit better organised, I finally have some time to start crafting and blogging again.

Here are some cards that I made using Toucan Scraps Rainbow papers. You can find them at her shop at Stitchy Bear, a collection of colourful and bright papers that is very reasonably priced. Do go and have a look at all the lovely products she has on sale there. The images are from Sliekje.

Well, here are all the cards I made using this pack, hope you like them.

Hope you like them, you can see the preview of the paper pack here:

As you can see a very varied collection of papers.

Thank you for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated.

Love,

Jo.

CRAFT Challenge 70, Fancy Floral.

This week's challenge at CRAFT Challenge is Fancy Floral, which means we want to see something Fancy florally on your creation. Do have a look at our challenge blog, the team came up with some fab creations again. Unfortunately I had to go with a rather simple one and not at all fancy, though floral. Not what I really had in mind. But then, I didn't have in mind to get the dreaded flu either, lol.

For this card I have used an image from Sliekje and the papers are from the gorgeous new range by Toucan Scraps Rainbow papers. a fab selection of colourful and bright papers ideal for lots of colour coordinating to take place. I will show you some more cards with them (also invites) later. My youngest son recently was 8 and this is one of 8 invites I created for his birthday party with these gorgeous papers.

Here is my card, hope you like it.

Our sponsor this week is Susie Sugar from Diecut Dreams Crafts, who is donating a bumper pack of 100 freshly cut flower die cuts.

Looking forward to seeing all your lovely creations. Have a good weekend and happy crafting!

Love,

Jo.

Certainly worth taking part.

Here are my cards for this challenge, they are invites for my eldest birthday party, which he had last Saturday. Hope you like them. The images are from Cute Daisy May.

Thanks for looking, hope you'll be joining us again this week.

Karate Birthday card for son.

Hi everyone,

Another update. Still catching up on my uploads. This is a card I did a few weeks ago for my eldest who is a blue belt in karate. He was 14 on the 24th of August. Some of the papers are from the Birthday Blue papers by Toucan Scraps. The image is my own and will be updated to my digistamp blog at a later stage. Hope you like it. I think my son did.

Hope you like it. Enjoy your weekend.

Love,

Jo.

Update 2, a card for Toucan Scraps

Finally another card. I did not really have much of a chance over the past few weeks to show off the great Birthday Blue papers from Toucan Scraps, but here is one of the cards I did with them. I'm sure you love them, it is a great pack, full of different matching birthday papers and ideal for boy's cards. So, don't stop, go over to her shop and see this pack and many of the other gorgoeous ones she has.

This is a card done for one of my eldest's teachers who retired at the end of last school year (that is how far I have been behind with uploading cards, oops!)

The image is from Meljen Designs and kind of fitted the purpose nicely.

Hope you like it.

Love,

Jo.

CRAFT Challenge 68, Colouring Pencils Only

Our challenge at CRAFT Challenge this week is called 'Colouring Pencils Only' and we want you to only use colouring pencils to colour your images this week. Some of the team felt rather deprived from their promarkers and other colouring pens, but they have still created gorgeous projects, so do go and have a look.

Our sponsor this week is the Crafty Pad Stamp Designs and Debbie has given us 2 lovely stamps to play around with for this challenge. She is also giving 2 stamps of the winner's choice from her shop to the winner of this week's challenge.

Here is my card for this challenge to provide you with some inspiration, I have used her 'You Rock Guitar' stamp for this card. The papers are from Toucan Scraps, the new City Street Digi papers.

Hope you like the card and will join us at CRAFT Challenge this week.

Love,

Jo.

CRAFT Challenge 67, Colour Palette Ava's Slave.

Morning all,

Time for the next challenge at CRAFT Challenge this week, our last challenge with Eileen on board and what a challenge it is.
This week we are using one of Eileen aka Eiglas' lovely colour palettes. This one is named Ava's Slave and has some fabulous calm colours. She has even given us some backgrounds to work with. What a way to leave us in! We are really going to miss you Eileen, it has been fab working with you and I'm sure we'll keep in touch.

Our sponsor this week is Sew Many Digital Stamps and they are offering the winner 5 digital stamps of their choice. Most of the team have used some of their stamps and I would recommend you have a look at all the gorgeous projects the new DT members have come up with. We are very happy to have them on board and lucky as well I would think.

Here is what I made, another card done for Christmas. Hope you like it. The image is PJ Welcome Home from our sponsor. A really cute image, that I feel is ideal for a Christmas card. The papers are from Eileen.

And here is the beautiful colour palette Ava's Slave to use this week:

For more gorgeous images, why not have a look at our sponsor's shop? They have many lovely images available.
The winner this week can choose 5 of their stamps, how lucky is that?

So, get started, happy crafting! I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Love,

Jo.

CRAFT Challenge 66, Man's Best Friend.

Morning all,

Time for another challenge at CRAFT challenge. This challenge is 'Man's Best Friend'. Our sponsor this week is Lauretta's Digital Stamps and the images used are her creations (Lovable Dalmation and Scotty Dog). Hope you like the card. It's for my youngest who soon will be 8 and loves doggies.

L

The second card is a rather special one.

This one is to say a fond farewell to the leaving DT members at CRAFT Challenge. So, this one is for you:
Andrea, Julie, Claire and Eileen! We are going to really miss you all. We have become quite a little group of friends, all of us originating from the Trimcraft forum to start with. Please pop by every now and then to let us know how you are. I would like to wish you all the best for your future and am sure you do well in your new ventures. I'll miss you ladies!

For those of you who are not aware, Andrea left us recently, last week was Julie's last on our team. For Claire this week is her last. Next week will be the last week for Eileen. I'm quite sad about them leaving, but also excited for the new ventures they are moving into. All the best to you all!

In case you like the stamps above, there are many more to be fiound on Lauretta's site, which can be found here. The prize on offer this week is the winner's choice of 4 digital stamps from Lauretta's site.

So for now, happy crafting. And do of course keep an eye out on CRAFT challenge for the new member of our DT team. They are due to be announced over the next few days.

Love,

Jo.
